What was the best project of 2009? What did you start this year that you’re proud of?
The Best of 2009 Blog Challenge is the one project this year that I not only started but that I’m doing consistently and intend to complete. I can’t say that about most of the projects on which I embark, and I love projects. I have lists and lists of them. This one, however, has been a game changer for me. I had no warning that it was coming so I had no time to debate my participation, analyze the viability of success, or do anything else that might stop me from leaping into it head first. And through this project, I have connected with amazing, talented people around the world, reconnected with my voice as a writer and, best of all, had a blast!
Oh, and I can now call myself a superhero! Indigo cape and stiletto boots on order. Still working on my emblem, though, and the gadget-ridden car. Any ideas?

/ December 21, 2009Emma, I can see you driving in your fly car wearing your cape and stilettos. Great job staying with it! I have loved reading your posts and having you leave your mark with me over on UF. You are a rockin’ superhero. I will read your wise words long after #best09 is over.
