Some days start a little later than others, and it can feel like you’re already behind the curve. Don’t let that convince you to toss the day away. You can make an impact on someone or something in a single moment, a split-second.
It isn’t more time we need, but more clarity.

/ March 9, 2010I found your blog via Windshield Thinking and just had to comment when I saw this post ~ you’ve articulated something which I think about almost daily! It’s all about clarity. When people say they need more time in a day, I don’t always tend to agree. When people come back from a vacation and say they have fresh perspective, I think they’re onto something. I strive for that “big picture” perspective, that clarity, daily. Thanks for bringing this to light!

And I clearly think about this, and am challenged by this, daily. Ah, clarity!

/ March 10, 2010Fidget: My pleasure! And believe me, I completely understand the impulse to toss the day when it starts out bad, but I’ve found that just makes the bad worse. For me, if I can stop, take a restorative breath, clear my head of the shoulds/coulds/woulds, and start again.
