Summer is definitely here in full force and since memories are short, I’m already beginning to hear people lamenting how hot it is and yearning for cooler weather. Isn’t it fascinating, the ease with which we live in the past and future and the challenge of being in and relishing the present? So, today, I thought tossing out a few snowballs might be a good way to celebrate the yin and yang of the seasonal spin.
When I was a child, a neighbor had a huge snowball bush (as we called it) in her front yard. All the kids on the street made the space under its flowering boughs into one of the best castle forts for blocks around. It was magical.
Do you have memories such as this one? I’d love to hear them. And I hope you capture that child’s magic for even a single moment today…
