Feeling Like A Superhero

As you know, last month I participated in Gwen Bell’s Best of 2009 Blog Challenge. It was transformative for me. Little did I know when I began, it also gave me superpowers. Or at least the moniker of SUPERHERO. On day nine, when I wrote about the best challenge of 2009, I won a gift – a superhero necklace, created by Andrea Scher. It arrived a few short days ago.

I'm a superhero!

Fabulous, no?

It says so right HERE.

Unfortunately, my cape and stiletto boots are on indefinite back-order.

Now, I’m off to do good… and find some breakfast…

  4. I love your necklace! I won the other prize for that day, the prayer bead bracelet. I am still anxiously awaiting its arrival, but I am super excited to show it off once it arrives.

I think you need a tiara to go with those boots and cape…then you’d be set!

    Happy New Year!

    • Jess: Oh, yea!! Congrats, chica! Let me know when it does arrive – I want pics! Isn’t it awesome to win something for doing what we love. Icing on the cake. And Happy New Year to you too!

    • Kat: She has a great blog too. Now, I just want to hang out with her in person, ’cause I’m guessing with this level of creative talent she’s gotta be pretty fun.
